The elegant curved window facades and landscaped courtyards chosen by the building’s owner are a real eye-catcher, both inside and out. The implemented building automation solution - the innovative L-ROC room automation solution and the L-WEB building management system from LOYTEC - was also carefully selected. Seven floors with over 13,500 m2 are available to tenants. In addition, there are two basement floors containing underground parking and a technical control center. The plant automation was implemented via BACnet/IP and BACnet MS/TP, and included heating systems (district heating), ventilation systems, refrigeration systems, underground car park smoke extraction, and fire dampers.

At first, the building was prepared for the basic fit-out according to a detailed design. In a further step, the tenants’ wishes will be taken into account and implemented in the tenant fit-out. 

Thanks to L-ROC room automation from LOYTEC, the state-of-the-art office building “The Oval” offers an automation solution that delivers a high degree of flexibility as well as different comfort levels to building occupants. The building’s outstanding digital infrastructure has already been awarded the WiredScore Platinum Certification and LEED Gold pre-certification is pending.
